About CQA
Construction Quality Australia (CQA) was established by a group of experts in January 2021 as a not-for-profit industry association for Quality.
CQA’s aim is to drive change across construction and increase project certainty and consistency, resulting in tangible improvements for Clients, Contractors, Subcontractors and the Australian Public.

Associated Organisations & Recent Achievements
Construction Quality Australia has been forming since 2018 - following industry discussions which revealed that Contractors are struggling with similar challenges in achieving Quality and that the industry lacked central body to advocate on its behalf.
Board members of the CQA have been initiating conversations with government organisations such as the Office of the NSW Building Commissioner, the Victorian Building Authority, and with industry associations such as the National Precast Concrete Association of Australia (NPCAA).
Our Purpose
The purpose of engaging with government organisations is not to carry favour but to demonstrate commitment on behalf of the whole industry and seek alignment on solutions from both sides.
CQA officers are available to speak on Construction Quality matters at Conferences and to the Media.

CQA helps its members to:
-
Create a culture of quality and commitment to get it right from the start
-
Change attitudes and harness leadership responsibility to reduce error and improve construction quality, productivity and safety
-
Engage all stakeholders in reducing error from inception, through operation, to completion.
-
Learn new knowledge, tools and practices to enhance quality processes and systems.
-
Improve technical skills across the sector to ensure more consistent product quality.
